Miele Korea, the Korean subsidiary of German premium home appliance brand Miele, is launching the 'KMDA 7476 FL,' a hood-integrated induction cooktop with an expanded cooking zone area that allows large cookware to be used with ease.
Miele's new two-in-one induction cooktop, the 'KMDA 7476 FL,' features two 'PowerFlex XL zones' positioned on either side of the centrally built-in hood. These zones are 7 cm larger than those on the company's existing product (based on the KMDA 7633 FR model), allowing cookware of various sizes and shapes to be used freely.
In particular, the PowerFlex XL zone automatically detects the cooking area based on the size of the cookware, so simply placing a pot or frying pan on it lets the cooktop recognize it and assist with cooking. Since it is not limited by size, a single long, large pan can be placed where two pots would normally sit, making it convenient for using large cookware or preparing large quantities of food.
The newly added convenience features designed with the user in mind also stand out. The intuitively designed 'Comfort Select Flex' is a numeric display panel that lets you adjust the heat to the desired level with a single touch or keep food warm at a constant temperature. It also allows easy setting of features that make cooking even more convenient, including: △'Stop&Go,' which quickly lowers the cooking zone power to level 1 and is useful when stepping away briefly; △'Wipe Protection,' which locks the sensor buttons to prevent settings from changing while wiping the display; and △a 'Timer' that can be set to alarm for up to about 10 hours, regardless of whether the cooking zones are in operation.
In addition, the built-in hood draws smoke down beneath the cooktop surface while you cook, creating a pleasant kitchen environment. Moreover, a high-efficiency eco motor dramatically boosts the hood's performance while minimizing noise and power consumption. The interior of the hood is equipped with an activated charcoal filter and a 10-layer stainless steel hood filter to thoroughly purify grease, steam, odors, and smoke, and then recirculate the filtered air.
Furthermore, using the 'Automatic Control' function of the automatic linkage feature 'Con@ctivity 3.0' allows the hood to operate automatically in line with the cooking zone power level. The cooktop offers six safety devices for the whole family to use with peace of mind, including a 'Safety Power Shut-Off' function that automatically turns off the power to prevent accidents if the appliance operates for an excessively long time, a 'System Lock' function in case a child touches the device, an 'Overheat Protection' function that automatically cuts the power when overheating is detected, and a 'Residual Heat Indicator.'
