Miele Korea, the Korean subsidiary of German premium home appliance brand Miele, has launched the ‘KMDA 7476 FL,’ an induction cooktop with an integrated hood, in the domestic market.

In the new product, the hood built into the center draws smoke generated during cooking down beneath the cooktop surface. The hood filter can be used semi-permanently and cleaned in a dishwasher. In addition, when the automatic control function of ‘Con@ctivity 3.0,’ an automatic linking feature, is used, the hood operates automatically in accordance with the power level of the cooking zones.

On either side of the hood is the ‘PowerFlex XL Zone,’ which automatically detects the size of the cookware. Now 7 cm wider than the company’s previous products, it can accommodate large cookware and also supports the ‘TwinBooster’ function, which concentrates the output of two cooking zones into a single area with up to 7.3 kW of power.

Furthermore, the Miele Korea ‘KMDA 7476 FL’ induction cooktop with integrated hood is equipped with six safety features, including ▲a safety power cut-off function that automatically turns off the power to prevent accidents when the appliance is operated for an excessively long time, ▲a system lock function in case a child touches the appliance, ▲an ‘overheat protection’ function that automatically shuts off the power when overheating is detected, and ▲a residual heat indicator.

A Miele Korea official said, “The new KMDA 7476 FL is a product that will deliver a more relaxed kitchen experience with its clean and refined design that blends in with the kitchen interior, as well as its expanded cooking space,” adding, “We hope you will experience Miele’s distinctive premium technology and value through this new product, which offers user convenience, safety, and powerful heating all at once.” 1577-1597
