This past November, Milwaukee Korea unveiled the world's first cordless heavy-equipment system, 'MX FUEL.'
The MX FUEL system is a groundbreaking solution that replaces construction heavy equipment—previously powered only by gas or by cord—with a cordless, battery-compatible approach. Until now, cordless battery technology had driven considerable progress in the power-tool industry, yet the construction-equipment industry had not been able to adopt it.
In response, Milwaukee is set to launch MX FUEL, the industry's first cordless heavy-equipment system, delivering an entirely new experience to the construction industry. In particular, by eliminating the exhaust emissions that have been taken for granted on job sites for decades and by relieving anxiety over noise, vibration, and checking remaining gas levels, it is expected to demonstrate an overwhelming advantage in safety and productivity. It also dramatically reduces the hazards that can arise during work by eliminating the risks of shutoff breakers, voltage drops, and stalling.
Andrew Frowman, Milwaukee's Vice President of Product Development, said, "After spending more than 10,000 hours alongside users at thousands of job sites around the world, we discovered significant safety and productivity problems in certain product categories such as gas and corded equipment. From headaches caused by gas fumes to product designs that strain the user's body during extended use, users were not satisfied with today's equipment.
