Milwaukee has launched a wide range of new products optimized for the upcoming winter season.
Among them, the most popular are the △M12 Heated Gears—introduced to the domestic market for the first time by Milwaukee Korea—and the even more compact △M12 FUEL 6-inch Chainsaw (M12 FHS).
The M12 Heated Gears, released this past October, come in a total of three types (Heated Jacket, Heated Vest, and Heated Hoodie). These are state-of-the-art cold-weather garments featuring battery-powered heating elements that deliver warmth to the chest, back, and shoulders. They are compatible with all of Milwaukee's 12V batteries and maintain warmth for up to 11 hours (using an M12 2.0Ah battery in Low mode). They are both washer- and dryer-safe.
In addition, the M12 FHS 6-inch Chainsaw is an excellent tool for simple winter felling and landscaping work. At 470 mm in length and 2.3 kg in weight, it is notably compact compared to conventional chainsaws. Furthermore, when using a 12V 6Ah battery, it can make up to 150 consecutive cuts through pine lumber. The 'M12 FHS 6-inch Chainsaw' has a maximum cutting length of 140 mm and a chain speed of 5 m/s.
Meanwhile, this past October, Milwaukee successfully wrapped up its ON:TACT RedStorm event. RedStorm—the industry's first and largest event of its kind—offers steep discounts on Milwaukee products when customers bring in tools from other brands. This year, due to COVID-19, it was conducted through an online pre-registration format. A Milwaukee Korea representative stated, "We are grateful for our customers' enthusiastic support and active participation during these difficult times, and we will continue to present diverse and innovative events in safe ways."
