Baekjo Sink, a specialist manufacturer of stainless steel sink bowls, has launched 'AGE-Friendly Sink Bowl,' a functional brand for senior care.
The distinguishing feature of this new brand is that its sink bowls are designed to be up to 75% shallower than standard sink bowls, so that elderly people with limited mobility or people with disabilities who use wheelchairs can use them conveniently. Because this leaves ample space beneath the sink, users can wash dishes while seated in a wheelchair. Even when washing dishes while standing, the shallow depth means less bending is required, placing less strain on the back, arms, and other parts of the body.
The flagship product, the 'AGF700,' keeps the depth of the sink bowl within 150 mm and features an angled bottom to minimize the wheelchair catching on the sink bowl. A faucet can optionally be installed on the left or right side of the sink bowl, and a 'sensor faucet system' that dispenses water at a touch is also incorporated to make dishwashing even more convenient for the user. In addition, the lineup is released in a total of four models—including the 'AGF780' with its refined square sink bowl design and the 'AGF835' and 'AGF430' with a shallow depth of 140 mm—allowing a wide range of choices to suit the style and dimensions of the kitchen.
