Baekjo Sink, a company specializing in stainless steel sink bowls, has partnered with elleci, an Italian specialist in composite sinks, to launch the premium sink bowl 'BEST870.'
The 'Elleci BEST870' is a wide-format, one-bowl type sink bowl that can be installed in the 900㎜ base cabinet most commonly used in Korea. Developed by Baekjo Sink over a period of about two years, this new product reflects as much as possible the findings of Korean consumer preference surveys gathered through customer questionnaires and monitoring over the past several years.
With its distinctively chic black surface and refined design of restrained lines, the 'BEST870' is well suited to upscale kitchen interiors, and it is characterized by a faucet mounted on the countertop, allowing the interior space of the sink bowl to be used generously. In addition, it comes with a drain cover accessory made of HPL (High Pressure Laminate) material, which can be used in various ways such as for dish drying and as a cover. Furthermore, it adopts the large drain that Korean consumers prefer, improving on the food-waste handling and installation issues found in conventional imported sink bowls. In particular, the 'BEST870' is made of Metaltek material, giving it strengths in impact resistance, antibacterial function, UV protection, and stain resistance, so it can be used hygienically for a long time.
The collaboration between elleci and Baekjo Sink began at the 2015 Cologne fair, where the two companies were won over by each other's technology and product capabilities. After launching four elleci models (Dogma100, Fox360, Quadra130, Charisma105) in Korea in 2016, Baekjo Sink introduced the uniquely designed 'BLACKHOLE940,' which it designed in-house, and went on to launch the 'BEST870' in 2021, currently offering a total of six models. Since its launch, it has successfully established itself in the market, with sales growing 280% through the end of last year.
