The Bosch Power Tools division has launched the professional-grade 18V cordless circular saw 'GKS 18V-68 GC Professional', its fourth domestic product to feature BITURBO Brushless (hereafter BITURBO) technology.

The newly launched circular saw is equipped with a powerful brushless motor and, when used with Bosch's premium ProCORE18V battery, boasts cutting power on par with an 1800W corded circular saw. According to the company's own tests, it cuts 14% faster than a conventional 1600W corded circular saw. This makes it easy to cut even thick, sturdy materials, and for woodworking it enables right-angle cuts up to 68 mm deep and 45-degree cuts up to 50 mm deep.

Careful attention was also paid to the product design to enable precise and efficient work. A new ergonomic auxiliary handle concept provides complete control from any cutting position. In particular, when making bevel cuts, the saw can be moved easily to suit the working environment while applying exactly as much pressure as is needed to cut the material. In addition, it features a convenient and intuitive one-touch depth adjustment function, allowing the depth to be adjusted one-handed with a single button and no clamping, making work extremely simple. Like other BITURBO products, it also has the advantage of an intuitive, convenient interface. Users can adjust the operating speed or easily change the working mode through the intuitive tool display (HMI). The blade rotation speed can be set from level 1 to level 6, and by using the connectivity feature, users can configure their own customized speed and mode settings in the Bosch Toolbox app on their smartphone. Using Eco mode for simple tasks such as cutting boards can extend the operating time by up to 30%, and depending on the tool's overheating status, the interface border is displayed in green/yellow/red to support safe use of the tool.

In addition, the new BITURBO cordless circular saw places great emphasis on user safety and health. Its intelligent brake system minimizes kickback (the phenomenon in which the workpiece, a moving part of the tool, or the tool itself is thrown during power-tool operation), and the motor brake engages in just 0.5 seconds, so it is designed to stop safely in unexpected situations during work. A dust extraction bag or extractor hose can be connected to the dust extraction adapter, and it is also compatible with Bosch's FSN guide rail system, making it optimized for straight-line work and precise professional tasks.

A representative from the Bosch Power Tools division said, "Following the launch of the BITURBO plunge saw, we have now introduced a circular saw tool as a BITURBO product in the domestic market as well," adding, "We invite you to experience for yourself the BITURBO circular saw, which surpasses corded tools in every respect—cutting performance, precision, convenience, and safety." 080-955-0909
