DEWALT, the premium power tool brand for professionals from Stanley Black & Decker Korea (CEO Hong Sung-wan), has launched the ‘60V MAX FLEXVOLT Brushless Hedge Trimmer (DCMHT573)’, a highly versatile tool for a range of pruning tasks such as trimming overgrown street trees and managing large-scale orchards and gardens.

The newly introduced ‘60V MAX FLEXVOLT Brushless Hedge Trimmer (DCMHT573)’ boasts improved work efficiency. Compared to the ‘20V MAX Cordless Hedge Trimmer (DCMHT563)’, it minimizes branch jamming during work with a 31㎜ blade gap—6㎜ wider—and a 26-inch, 650㎜ blade length that is 100㎜ longer. In particular, it makes it easy to handle bare branches left uncut all winter in large gardens or orchards with a single cut.

In addition, its powerful motor and excellent runtime enable high-quality gardening work. The new product delivers up to 3,400 SPM of strokes per minute with its powerful brushless motor, and it can be used for extended periods of up to 75 minutes at no load on a full charge of the ‘60V MAX (3.0Ah)/20V MAX (9.0Ah) FLEXVOLT Premium Battery (DCB609)’. It also features carefully designed functions for safety. Its ergonomic over-mold grip is designed to reduce the physical strain and fatigue on the operator even during prolonged work. Furthermore, to prevent safety accidents while using the hedge trimmer, the product operates only when the auxiliary handle on top and the trigger are pulled at the same time, and it is equipped with a blade guard that protects the operator from cuttings such as tough branches and trimmed grass.

A DEWALT product manager said, “We are pleased to introduce an even more upgraded hedge trimmer for efficient pruning tasks such as trimming sharply grown trees in winter and various gardening work,” adding, “We will continue to research and introduce products with operator safety and outstanding performance that can handle everything from branches growing along roadsides to managing large-scale gardening.” 02-3016-9200
