Royal Copenhagen, the Danish royal porcelain brand with 248 years of tradition, is launching new products in its 'Blue Plain' and 'Blue Mega' collections.
Blue Plain is the first dinnerware line designed by Royal Copenhagen. Created in 1775, it is a collection that has shared the brand's history ever since. The classic pattern of Blue Plain, sustained for over 250 years, remains a bestseller to this day. This new Blue Plain product is released as a deep plate in the largest 27 cm size, making it well suited for serving main dishes such as pasta or salad at dinner, while the fluted vertical grooves on its surface and the gently formed, deep curved profile exude elegance.
Blue Mega is a line with a modern sensibility, enlarging part of Blue Plain's classic pattern. In Blue Mega, you can meet three different new products: a deep plate ideal for plating pasta; a large round plate that can be placed as a centerpiece on the dining table or in the kitchen to hold fruits and vegetables and be used for serving; and a modern vase in the smallest size, which can hold one or two flowers to refresh the atmosphere of the home.
An official from Royal Copenhagen Korea said, "We are launching a variety of new products in Blue Plain and Blue Mega, hand-painted in Royal Copenhagen's iconic cobalt blue in the fluted form," adding, "We hope you will create an even more stylish table with these new products, imbued with the craftsmanship and refinement of handmade artistry."
