Samsung Electronics is teaming up with interior design companies and artists to introduce new designs for its lifestyle-tailored refrigerator, 'Bespoke.'
To satisfy an even wider range of consumer tastes, Samsung Electronics has collaborated with Hanssem, a comprehensive home interior company, and Thibaud Herem, a renowned French illustrator.
Samsung Electronics has applied the 'FENIX' material used in 'Kitchenbach,' Hanssem's premium brand, to the Bespoke refrigerator, and will sell this product at Hanssem stores. FENIX is an Italian furniture material that is scratch-resistant and resistant to fingerprints, making it easy to maintain, and its matte texture pairs well with the recently trending matte-material interiors. The Bespoke refrigerator featuring FENIX panels is a Kitchen Fit type that fits perfectly into the average cabinet size of Korean apartments, allowing most homes to achieve a built-in style at a reasonable price without separate construction work. When placed together with Hanssem Kitchenbach kitchen furniture, the identical materials and colors create a perfect built-in look. The new products featuring FENIX panels are all Kitchen Fit types and come in seven configurations: a 4-door refrigerator, a 3-door kimchi refrigerator, a 2-door refrigerator, and 1-door refrigerator, freezer, kimchi refrigerator, and convertible refrigerator. They are available in three colors: beige, dark gray, and black. The manufacturer's suggested retail prices range from 999,000 won to 4,699,000 won.
In addition, the
'Bespoke Thibaud Herem Edition,' which features the work of renowned French illustrator Thibaud Herem, is launched in three designs: △Fontainebleau, which captures the fairytale-like scenery of Fontainebleau—one of France's three great châteaux and a retreat of successive kings; △London Horizon, which brings London's skyline onto a single canvas to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the London Underground; and △Notre Dame, a new work by the artist expressing his mourning for the fire-damaged cathedral. It comes as 1-door, 2-door, and 4-door refrigerators, with prices ranging from 1,599,000 to 7,047,000 won.
Yang Hye-soon, Vice President of Samsung Electronics' Digital Appliances Business, said, "We partnered with Hanssem for consumers who want to purchase, at a reasonable price, a refrigerator that harmonizes perfectly with premium kitchen furniture," adding, "Going forward, through our own research as well as collaborations with a variety of partners, we will continue to expand our lineup of products that realize the Bespoke interiors consumers want." 1588-6084
