Samsung Electronics has launched the 14-place-setting ‘Bespoke Dishwasher,’ made smarter with artificial intelligence (AI).
While keeping the same exterior dimensions as the existing model, the new product increases capacity from 12 to 14 place settings so that a large volume of dishes can be washed at once, holding 16 more items. In addition, it features the ‘Max Flex 3-Level Basket,’ which allows the upper and middle baskets to be moved freely up and down, enabling efficient loading to suit various types and sizes of dishes. Samsung’s own AI features have also been newly added. The product maximizes user convenience with ▲‘AI Custom Wash,’ which automatically detects how dirty the dishes are and adjusts water usage, temperature, and spray intensity; ▲‘AI Custom Recommendation,’ which learns and recommends frequently used wash patterns; and ▲a ‘Conversational Notification Window’ that displays various information in sentence form on the front panel.
It can be used even more conveniently when linked with SmartThings. Through SmartThings Cooking, users can receive wash cycle recommendations based on the type of food, and by setting the energy AI Saving Mode, monthly energy consumption can be reduced by 20%. Furthermore, it is the first dishwasher in Korea to receive AI+ certification from the Korean Standards Association. AI+ is a certification by which the Korean Standards Association verifies the quality of products applying AI technology, based on the international standards of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).
In addition, the new ‘Bespoke Dishwasher’ is offered in the ‘Kitchen Fit Built-in’ and ‘True Built-in’ lines so that it can blend perfectly with kitchen interiors. The ‘Kitchen Fit Built-in’ line allows consumers to choose a panel from a total of 4 materials and 12 colors according to their taste, enabling a wide variety of configurations. Moreover, a new white color has been added to the existing black for the control panel, creating a bright kitchen atmosphere. The ‘True Built-in’ line can be installed in the same material and color as the sink cabinet doors, allowing it to be harmoniously integrated into the interior as if it were part of the cabinetry.
The factory price of the new Bespoke Dishwasher ranges from 1.29 to 1.79 million won depending on the product type and color, with installation and panel costs charged separately.
A Samsung Electronics official said, “The new product was developed to take into account the characteristics of Korean food culture, providing not only powerful washing even at large capacity but also convenient washing through the integration of AI features.” 02-2255-0114
