SMEG Korea has launched the modern-design ‘Linea Oven.’ In 2024, SMEG plans to strengthen its large built-in appliance lineup, expanding consumers’ choices for built-in interior appliances and making a full-scale push to increase its share of the domestic built-in appliance market. Its first product launched in Korea in 2024 is also a built-in appliance—the ‘Linea Oven.’

The SMEG built-in ‘Linea Oven’ offers a total of eight heating methods—including the frequently used air-fry function, upper and lower heating elements, and convection mode—enabling a wide variety of cooking. In particular, its convection (hot-air) function and large 68L capacity allow two dishes to be cooked simultaneously, saving time. In addition, all five interior surfaces of the oven feature an easy-cleaning enamel coating, and a steam-cleaning function uses high heat and moisture to loosen interior residue for easy removal, enhancing the practicality of maintaining and managing the built-in oven. The new product’s design concept is ‘the aesthetics of lines’ and ‘elegant light.’ Drawing on the strengths of the Linea series, which highlights the beauty of the ‘Line’—a fundamental design element—it applies a simple yet intuitive interface. The door is finished in Mystic Grey glass, with careful attention paid even to the beauty of reflected light that changes depending on the angle at which light strikes the product.

An official from SMEG Korea said, “As consumer interest in interior design grows, the trend of enhancing space efficiency and pursuing harmony through built-in kitchen appliances continues,” adding, “With more than 70 years of appliance technology and sophisticated design, SMEG will continue to invest not only in built-in appliance solutions for consumers but also in its B2B built-in business.”

Meanwhile, to celebrate the new product launch, SMEG Korea is running a promotion offering 20% off the Linea Oven, induction cooktops, hoods, and more at its official online mall and offline stores through February. 1588-2644
