Gateman has announced the launch of the ‘Smart Lever Lock,’ an Internet of Things (IoT) room door lock.
The ‘Smart Lever Lock’ is a product designed to help realize a healthier community and greater privacy by securing an individual’s personal time and space. In keeping with its use on interior room doors, the ‘Smart Lever Lock’ was designed with interior aesthetics in mind and is available in three colors: Deep Gray, Modern Gold, and Dark Silver. The ‘Smart Lever Lock’ is powered by Smart Living, Gateman’s in-house-developed IoT platform. Smart Living has also been upgraded to version 3.0, with significantly improved stability and functionality.
In addition, Gateman’s new ‘Smart Lever Lock’ can be operated at close range via a standard Bluetooth connection, and when paired with the separately sold ‘Smart Living Bridge,’ it can be controlled in real time from anywhere in the country over Wi-Fi.
Beyond this, the ‘Smart Lever Lock’ is a product for those who wish to have their personal space respected even within a shared living environment. It aims to transform the conventional perception of the act of ‘locking a door’ from one of ‘disconnection’ and ‘blocking’ into a healthy sense of privacy rooted in ‘respect’ and ‘consideration.’
