Amway Korea has launched a new compact air purifier, the 'Atmosphere Blue.' The new 'Atmosphere Blue' is a product that reflects the changing lifestyles of Koreans, including the rise in single-person households and the growing culture of individualized personal spaces within the home.
According to Amway Korea, the 'Atmosphere Blue' was created by reducing volume and weight by roughly half while retaining as much as possible the distinctive strengths of Amway's premium air purifier model, the 'Atmosphere Sky.' Designed to deliver optimal performance in smaller spaces such as studio apartments, bedrooms, children's rooms, and studies, it is expected to create synergy with existing products intended mainly for use in shared common areas. The new product reduces by 99.99% even particles as small as 0.0024 micrometers—more than 1,000 times smaller than ultrafine dust and roughly 1/25,000 the diameter of a human hair. In addition, it features a three-stage filter structure of a pre-filter, deodorizing filter, and dust-collecting (HEPA) filter, with the deodorizing filter and dust-collecting (HEPA) filter built as an easy-to-replace all-in-one unit to enhance user convenience.
Furthermore, the 'Atmosphere Blue' applies a low-noise design that cuts noise by roughly half compared to existing products. The 'Atmosphere Blue' has also completed certifications from the British Allergy Foundation (BAF), the European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation (ECARF), the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM) in the United States, and ENERGY STAR.
Shin Eun-ja, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Amway Korea, said, "As hyper-personalized home life becomes commonplace, the importance of managing the indoor environment, such as ensuring clean air, is increasingly emphasized," adding, "Through this new product launch, Amway will build a portfolio of air purifier products tailored to the characteristics of each space and proactively respond to increasingly diverse consumer needs."
