Wells is launching 'Wellsfarm Mini,' a compact smart farm that lets you grow a pesticide-free garden at home.
'Wellsfarm Mini' features a cube-shaped design measuring 36 cm in diameter, reducing its size and volume by up to 49.5% compared to previous models. Small and lightweight, it is easy to move and can be conveniently placed in tight spaces such as on a kitchen table, a desk, or a side table. Wells explained, "We have introduced a new lineup with enhanced design and convenience to broaden our customer base to one- and two-person households, including the MZ generation, who have a strong interest in eco-friendly food and home gardening."
'Wellsfarm Mini' simplifies the complex plant-cultivation process so that anyone can easily grow eco-friendly vegetables. Vegetable seedlings are also delivered on a regular schedule. Young vegetable seedlings are delivered every two months; you simply insert the seedlings into the device along with water and press the power button for features such as the LED (light-emitting diode) lighting. Six seedlings can be planted per device. The seedlings come in four varieties: red sorrel, red lettuce, bok choy, and green lettuce. In particular, the vegetable seedlings are safely grown at the 'Wells Smart Farm Factory,' which is maintained in a sterile, pesticide-free environment, before being shipped. Seedlings that pass quality inspection at the smart farm factory are delivered within 24 hours via a cold-chain system, and rather than by parcel service, a specialized engineer visits in person every two months to provide services such as transplanting the vegetables and cleaning the device.
