Ace Hardware is launching a premium imported paint brand. Ace Hardware's own paint, 'Clark+Kensington,' making its debut in Korea for the first time, is a premium imported paint manufactured in the United States and available only through Ace Hardware.
Thanks to its premium quality and brand power, 'Clark+Kensington' ranked first in both the interior and exterior paint categories in customer satisfaction evaluations selected by Consumer Reports, a leading U.S. consumer publication, and J.D. Power, a major U.S. market research firm, earning recognition for its product quality from American professionals and consumers alike.
'Clark+Kensington' uses more than 1,400 unique colors to provide customers with personalized custom colors, and with high-quality raw materials and advanced technology it boasts excellent coverage and a comfortable, smooth application. In addition, 'Clark+Kensington' is a low-VOC (volatile organic compound) paint with virtually no odor, meeting California's VOC standards—the most stringent in the United States—with the added benefit of no increase in VOCs even after tinting. All of it is produced at manufacturing plants in the U.S. and imported directly, allowing Ace Hardware to offer premium paint at reasonable prices free of unnecessary markups, along with a range of services and special offerings. For areas near Ace Hardware stores only, customers can receive fee-based color tinting and delivery service within three hours of ordering, and Ace Hardware also runs an eco-friendly paint collection service in which customers who bring leftover 'Clark+Kensington' paint cans back to an Ace Hardware store receive waste disposal and membership points.
In addition, Ace Hardware's Clark+Kensington paint classes offer lessons on the theme of 'Learning the Basics for Beginner Painters' using Clark+Kensington paint. Through these paint classes, participants can learn the fundamentals of painting work by gaining an understanding of paint materials, learning how to use tools, and taking part in hands-on painting practice.
An official from Eugene Home Center said, "We hope customers in Korea can also experience, at reasonable prices, a premium imported paint recognized by American consumers and professionals at Ace Hardware," adding, "Beyond paint, we plan to run a variety of events—including offline lessons for beginner painters and the distribution of video content—so that anyone can do painting work with ease." 1544-3597
