SOLITY, a leading domestic manufacturer specializing in smart door locks, has launched its new ‘P4000 Series (P4000-BH, SP-4000).’

To move away from the previously dark door lock front body, the ‘P4000 Series’ applies a carbon-pattern film finish—of the kind seen on luxury sedans—to its front surface, and it is designed so that the door lock, the first thing you encounter when entering the home, alone conveys a sense of a refined residence. In addition, by adopting an in-mold process so that the product is perceived as having no steps or visual inconsistencies from any angle, it delivers a premium design.

The ‘P4000 Series’ features the longest push-pull among SOLITY’s own products, using the long push-pull, a new product category. By applying a lever mechanism, the door can be pushed and pulled easily with little force, allowing consumers to use it efficiently, while the maximum dimensions unique to the long push-pull ensure stable usability. In particular, the premium smart door lock ‘P4000-BH’ enhances security by applying a triple-security hook mechanism that proactively prevents forced external intrusion. The triple-security hook mechanism fastens the door once more with a hook-shaped latch, in addition to the basic locking bolt. The new ‘P4000-BH’ applies a top-grade fingerprint recognition module, carrying on SOLITY’s reputation as a maker of 0.9-second fingerprint recognition door locks. It is also designed to allow the use of a smart key for consumers who cannot use fingerprints due to their circumstances.

In addition, SOLITY has simultaneously launched the ‘SP-4000,’ designed with consideration for users who cannot use a fingerprint recognition door lock. The ‘SP-4000’ adopts a two-way method that allows the door to be opened using a password and a smart key. It gives essentially the same design feel as the ‘P4000-BH’ and, with black décor on its upper section, is made to share a family look.

Both products in the ‘P4000 Series’ support IoT services using communication options (Bluetooth Pack and Smart Bridge) and the Smart SOLITY app, through which the door lock’s open/close status and history can be checked remotely in real time. Furthermore, they are equipped with a key-sharing function that can share temporary passwords—set according to time and day of the week—with visiting tutors and others.
