iRiver has announced the launch of ‘Room Dryer IHD-M1,’ a smart mini dehumidifier designed to keep indoor environments comfortable.
The new product features an ultra-slim 7.8 cm design that maximizes space efficiency, engineered for easy installation even in tight spaces such as on a desk, a bathroom shelf, or a dressing room wardrobe. It also supports a wide operating temperature range of 5–30°C, making it usable year-round—for hot and humid summer conditions, winter condensation control, and drying laundry indoors in spring. In addition, the ‘Room Dryer IHD-M1’ delivers premium-grade dehumidification performance through smart environment recognition. Its ‘Care Mode,’ equipped with an automatic temperature and humidity sensing system, operates automatically according to the indoor environment, while its Peltier-based low-temperature dehumidification technology enables quiet, comfortable dehumidification without generating heat. Hygiene functions have also been reinforced. A UV-C LED sterilization function removes harmful airborne bacteria, and the photocatalytic filter captures both germs and odors to maintain a clean indoor environment. On top of this, a low-noise design of around 32 dB and a low-power system allow for long-term use without the burden of noise or power consumption. The built-in full-water detection sensor automatically stops operation when the tank is full, and connecting a continuous drainage hose enables extended dehumidification. It also features an IPX4-rated splash-resistant design for everyday use.
