Global lighting company LEDVANCE has launched the ‘SMART+ WIFI INDOOR FLEX,’ an LED smart strip light that makes home styling easy without the help of a professional.
The new product is a strip-type indirect light that operates over Wi-Fi. Lightweight and compact, it is used for interior decoration of indoor spaces. Its greatest advantage is that it can transform the atmosphere of a space just as you want with simple installation and no separate construction work. Simply remove the tape on the underside of the product and attach it to the installation location. Then plug the connector into the supplied adapter and connect the power, and it lights up right away. The ‘SMART+ WIFI INDOOR FLEX’ comes as a standard 2m (1m × 2EA) and can be cut down or extended in 1m increments. By purchasing an extension strip separately, it can be extended up to 4m. At 12mm wide it is slim, and being made of silicone, it can easily be attached even to narrow and curved areas. The new product can be applied broadly not only in ordinary homes but also in the indoor spaces of commercial facilities. Attaching it to ceiling lines, curtain boxes, interior walls, furniture, the back of a PC, and more for use as indirect lighting makes a space look far cozier and more upscale.
In addition, the ‘SMART+ WIFI INDOOR FLEX’ is notable for applying LEDVANCE technology that extends the communication range of Wi-Fi, allowing up to 60 lights to be expanded through a single Wi-Fi wireless router. Since no separate hub is needed for the wireless connection, it is economical. It can be paired with both Android and Apple smart devices, and various lighting functions can be run through the dedicated app (LEDVANCE APM SMART+ Wi-Fi). As a product used for indoor interior effects, it provides 16 million RGB colors and a color temperature of 2700–6500K, allowing you to create a variety of moods to suit the place and situation. In addition, through the app you can use functions such as lighting scene presets (Relax/Reading/Wake-up/Leisure/Custom), voice commands (Google Assistant/Apple Siri/Amazon Alexa), and lighting schedule settings. Its lifespan is about 20,000 hours. Power consumption is 8W (based on 2m), and it consumes more than 50% less energy than a fluorescent lamp.
