Ewon OMS (CEO Nam Hyung-ho) has officially launched the ‘Smart IoT Sterilizing Mirror’ for bathrooms.

The new ‘Smart IoT Sterilizing Mirror’ uses a harmless LED 405 sterilizing light at the bottom of the smart mirror to remove various harmful bacteria remaining in the room, keeping the bathroom clean and pleasant. In particular, LED 405 sterilization eliminates germs and bacteria using a 405 nm wavelength in the visible-light range, which is outside the ultraviolet (UV) wavelength range (100–400 nm). In addition, a built-in motion-detecting radar sensor uses a 5.8 GHz sensor to detect the presence of a user without any separate operation. When no one is present, the sterilizing light system operates automatically; when a person is detected, the sterilizing light system turns off and the LED lighting turns on automatically. Furthermore, the ‘Smart IoT Sterilizing Mirror’ allows control of the bathroom fan with a touch of a button on the mirror, and its body dryer and warm-air heater functions make it usable throughout all four seasons.

Nam Hyung-ho, CEO of Ewon OMS, stated, “We will develop and launch a wide range of products according to their intended use and consumer needs, spanning from the bathroom to the entryway, kitchen, and bedroom.”

Meanwhile, Ewon OMS Co., Ltd., a smart home specialist, announced that ‘Hey Mirror’—the result of a joint research and development collaboration with Professor Jang Ho-jong of the Convergence Sensor Team at the KAIST IT Convergence Institute—achieved the remarkable feat of winning the Best of Innovation award, the top honor among the ‘CES 2023 Innovation Awards,’ at CES, the world’s largest consumer electronics show. 070-4140-0510
