STANLEY Launches Two Grinders with Enhanced Power and Features

STANLEY (STANLEY), the power tool and hand tool brand of Stanley Black & Decker Korea (CEO Hong Seong-wan), is launching two new 2200W grinders armed with a powerful motor and enhanced working capability.

The two 2200W grinders come in 7-inch and 9-inch sizes and boast powerful performance thanks to a 2200W motor with improved gear durability. The no-load speed is 8,500/min for the 7-inch grinder (SL227) and 6,500/min for the 9-inch (SL229S), delivering optimal speed and raising the quality of the finished work. In addition, a dust-proof switch has been applied to further strengthen motor durability.

A wide range of convenience-boosting features has also been applied to maximize work efficiency. The lightweight 4.3 kg body and compact dimensions reduce strain on the wrist even during extended work. On top of this, a detachable side handle and a multi-handle position for a comfortable posture enable precise, wobble-free work. A lock-on switch that secures the switch to aid long, continuous operation has been added, and the grinding wheel can be easily replaced by pressing the spindle lock button. The sturdy safety cover prevents debris from flying toward the operator.

In particular, the STANLEY '9-inch grinder (SL229S)' adds a soft-start function for enhanced safety. It temporarily reduces the motor's load and torque during initial startup, preventing the danger of sudden kickback.
