STANLEY, the power tool and hand tool brand of Stanley Black & Decker Korea (CEO Hong Seong-wan), has launched three new additions to its ‘FATMAX V20’ range, delivering improved work efficiency and longer product life.
‘FATMAX V20’ is a product line that enhances work efficiency by applying STANLEY’s own high-efficiency FATMAX brushless motor and battery technology. In addition to powerful performance, it is free from the memory effect (a phenomenon in which the maximum capacity is reduced when charging is repeated before the battery is fully discharged), thereby extending product life. Furthermore, it minimizes self-discharge so that professionals can use it for long hours on the job site, further improving durability and convenience. Since this past June, STANLEY has released four types of drills, two batteries, a charger, a work light, and a multi-cutter under the ‘FATMAX V20’ series. This time, it has added a total of three products—a grinder, a circular saw, and a reciprocating saw—building an even more robust lineup.
▲The 20V MAX 5-inch Grinder (Bare Tool) (SCG400K) can operate at a maximum no-load speed of 9,000 RPM, delivering excellent performance when cutting and grinding stone and steel. It features a 3-position auxiliary handle that enables comfortable work in any position, allowing precise operation without shaking. The spanner, which is easy to lose during use, can be stored inside the auxiliary handle to minimize tool loss. In addition, a one-touch guard that can be attached and detached without any separate tools enhances convenience, while an aluminum gearbox that protects the product in harsh work environments and dissipates motor heat strengthens durability. ▲The 20V MAX Brushless Reciprocating Saw (Bare Tool) (SBR310) applies STANLEY’s high-performance brushless motor, boasting excellent output and 3,200 SPM (strokes per minute). In addition, a 2-speed control mode switch makes it easy to adjust the speed to match the work material and situation—such as wood or metal—improving work efficiency. Moreover, it is equipped with an open pivot shoe that keeps the work material and guide surface in close contact, aiding efficient and precise cutting. ▲The 20V MAX Brushless Circular Saw (SBC550M2K) delivers high performance with a no-load speed of 5,000 RPM thanks to STANLEY’s high-efficiency brushless motor. With a blade diameter of 190 mm and a bevel angle of 56 degrees, it can cut up to 65 mm, and it is equipped with a high-performance LED light that makes it easy to keep the cutting line in view during work. In addition, a bevel angle detent function that lets you lock in frequently used angles and an easy-to-operate bevel angle adjustment lever further boost work efficiency. In particular, the E-brake, which stops rotation the moment the switch is released, helps ensure safe operation.
