CUCKOO Electronics has launched the ‘Steam Shot Dishwasher (product name: CDW-BS1210UDG),’ which cleans and sterilizes with ultra-high-temperature steam of 120℃.

CUCKOO Electronics has applied to its dishwashers the steam-sterilization know-how developed from its 100℃ boiled-water purifiers. When the powerful wash and steam-sterilization course is selected, ultra-high-temperature steam of up to 120℃ (measured at the nozzle outlet) is sprayed directly onto the dishes, removing even the grease left after grilling meat and dried-on grains of rice. It therefore also sterilizes various bacteria such as E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus, which cause food poisoning in summer. The new product is also equipped with a 5-stage three-dimensional washing system. In addition to washing nozzles at the top, middle, and bottom, it features a total of five washing nozzles, including a vertical spray that sprays washing water up and down through vertical rotation, and a vortex nozzle. Once washing is complete, remaining moisture is removed with 100℃ hot air, and an automatic door-opening drying function prevents water stains caused by internal humidity. In addition, if further drying is needed, the powerful drying course can be used. Moreover, the ‘Steam Shot Dishwasher’ offers a total of eight washing courses—including Standard, Smart, Powerful, and Rapid—so that a suitable washing course can be selected according to the level of soiling and the situation. It is also equipped with five additional functions, including extra rinse, powerful drying, and steam sterilization.

An official from CUCKOO Electronics said, “We have applied the steam-sterilization know-how gained from developing the 100℃ boiled-water purifier to the Steam Shot Dishwasher, removing everything from grease to food-poisoning bacteria,” adding, “Since it can wash not only ordinary dishes but also large frying pans and pots, we hope it frees people from doing the dishes after meals.” 1588-8899
