KCC (CEO Chung Mong-jin) has launched 'Supuro Putty Washable,' an interior/exterior putty applicable to gypsum board, concrete, plywood, and more.
With this launch, KCC adds 'Supuro Putty Washable'—a combined interior/exterior product—to its existing 'Supuro Putty for Interior' and 'Supuro Putty for Exterior' lines, completing an eco-friendly KCC water-based putty lineup that can be used in the right place for the right purpose at construction sites. 'Supuro Putty Washable' is a water-based putty whose main ingredients are a special acrylic polymer and minerals; its excellent adhesion facilitates smooth painting work. It offers semi-exterior-grade water resistance that makes it suitable not only for interior spaces where high humidity makes paint maintenance difficult—such as bathrooms, balconies, and utility rooms—but also for exterior finishing.
The new product is notable for its versatility, as it can be used for filling joint cracks and grooves as required for high-quality painting, or for leveling surfaces to be painted such as gypsum board, concrete, and plywood. It is expected to be recognized for workability and price competitiveness strong enough to be used at job sites as an all-purpose exterior putty product.
In addition, 'Supuro Putty Washable' shows no detection of the four major heavy metals and has obtained the Ministry of Environment's eco-friendly mark, thereby securing work safety as well. This aligns with the legislative intent of the Ministry of Environment to protect both the environment and users' health, and the entire KCC water-based putty lineup has now earned the eco-friendly mark.
