Sidiz (CEO Lee Sang-bae), the chair specialty brand of the Fursys Group, is releasing a new color of 'Ringo,' the nation's go-to elementary school chair, ahead of the new school term.

Since its launch in 2011, Ringo has recorded steady growth, reaching cumulative sales of approximately 900,000 units over roughly a decade through 2021. Its broad popular appeal has made it a favorite among parents, earning it the nickname "the nation's elementary school chair."

Previously, demand for children's room chairs was concentrated on colors such as △green △blue △pink. Recently, however, as preference has grown for monotone and pastel tones that harmonize with the home's overall interior—even in children's rooms—the calm soymilk color has been added. As a product popular enough to be called the nation's elementary school chair, it now offers an even wider range of choices.

Sidiz's Ringo features a 'Growing' function that allows the backrest height and seat depth to be adjusted to a child's height, helping fast-growing children maintain a correct and comfortable posture. In particular, it can be used by everyone from preschoolers 110–160 cm tall to upper-grade elementary students, making it a consistent favorite among parents of growing children.

In addition, Ringo lets users choose a center-post option between a fixed type and a swivel type that adjusts the seat's rotation function according to the study situation, and a detachable footrest is provided as standard, allowing flexible use as a child grows.

Sidiz introduced the new beige chair for customers deliberating over their children's room interiors ahead of the new school term, and said it hopes customers will use the now more varied Ringo lineup to create a space that respects each child's individuality.

The Ringo series is available through official Sidiz dealers nationwide and on the company website.
