Shinmyung Maru has launched a new eco-friendly hardwood floor from ‘Quick-Step.’ The new product is PALAZZO’s ‘Warm Natural Oak Extra Matt,’ which features the ‘Wood for Life’ technology for exceptionally high functionality.

The ‘Wood for Life’ technology, which keeps the floor as clean as new, addresses the vulnerabilities inherent in hardwood flooring: it is highly resistant to moisture and prevents contaminants from penetrating, so stains rarely form. In addition, its Scratch Guard function gives the surface a hardness that resists denting and marring. Furthermore, Quick-Step’s special surface finishing applies ‘Easy to Clean’ technology that makes it easy to remove any type of contaminant, keeping the floor clean for a long time. As a result, the product is expected to receive an even more favorable response from households that keep pets.

A representative of Shinmyung Maru said, “As ‘pet-terior’ interiors for pets have recently grown in popularity, interest in Quick-Step flooring—which has virtually no gaps at the seams and is 100% waterproof—has been on the rise,” adding, “Installing Quick-Step products together with Underlays, a material that reduces inter-floor noise, can also ease concerns about noise.”

Meanwhile, ‘Quick-Step’ is a flooring brand launched by Belgium’s Unilin, supplying a diverse range of eco-friendly, high-quality, and multifunctional products such as HYBRID, PARQUET, and ALPHA VINYL.
