Shinsegae Casa has launched two new products in its 'Casamia Dining Furniture Series,' featuring young, stylish designs.
Moving away from the traditional approach of placing the dining table in the kitchen, the new products were designed with a simple, modern aesthetic so they can also be used in the living room and elsewhere as a tea table or as a desk for hobbies and leisure. In particular, with 'Vienna Dining,' customers can freely select and combine the shape of the tabletop as well as the colors of the frame and chairs to suit the lifestyle of newlyweds, the company explained. The table features a porcelain ceramic top with a subtle natural-stone pattern, minimizing everyday soiling such as food stains and scratches from tableware use. The product comes in three shapes—round, square, and oval—and its lower frame uses slim 28㎜ steel pipe to make the space appear more open. It is available in two colors: white and black. In addition, the chairs feature a simple straight steel frame paired with a softly curved backrest design, in the same color as the dining table. The seat cushions use functional fabric that resists absorbing stains, making them easy to maintain even if food or liquid is spilled.
Beyond Vienna, Shinsegae Casa has also introduced a new 'Mid Brown (a medium-brightness brown)' color for its existing 'Pomelo Dining' product. With its light wood color, clean and uncluttered design, and easy-to-maintain ceramic top, this dining table series has been well received, particularly among younger customers. The ceramic top can be chosen in either white or gray according to personal taste.
A Shinsegae Casa official said, "For customers preparing in advance to set up their newlywed home in the second half of this year, we envisioned soon-to-be married couples dreaming of a happy new start in a new home, and launched new dining furniture with young, trendy designs to match," adding, "Going forward, based on Shinsegae Casa's distinctive design sensibility, we plan to continue introducing differentiated new products that can satisfy customers' increasingly discerning eye and diverse tastes." 1588-3408
