Shinsegae Casa, the living and lifestyle company of Shinsegae Group, has launched a large lineup of new ‘built-in wardrobe’ products for the first half of 2023, including system closets and design doors.

The new product series was optimized based on careful consideration of storage space and user experience. Built on 75 body modules and 10 designs, the options have been diversified with 75 door types. The closet body consists of storage modules with various compartments and options, including basic units, side units, lighting units, drawer units, multipurpose organizer units, and vanity units. For doors, in addition to the standard hinged type, sliding, folding, and drawer-mix types are newly introduced. In particular, the sliding doors of the built-in wardrobe feature a bidirectional damping function that closes them slowly to prevent hands from getting caught, and they are equipped with a locking function between the door and rail for safe use. The folding door is the first door type of its kind to be released by Shinsegae Casa for domestic household furniture in Korea, and is characterized by allowing the contents inside to be seen at a glance.

In addition, the company presents a ‘molding-free door’ with an increased door height that gives the clean look of a professionally finished interior, as well as a ‘drawer-mix door’ with exposed lower drawers that allow a wider variety of clothing to be stored. The doors are also offered in a range of styles across 10 designs. In particular, the ‘Dona’ door features a premium leather-textured finishing material that is rarely seen on ordinary wardrobe doors, and doors with a practical mirror finish and translucent glass doors that maximize a modern atmosphere are also available. Furthermore, a surrounding finish that completely fills the gap between the wall, ceiling, and closet, along with an end panel attached when the side of the wardrobe would otherwise be exposed during installation, enables a clean and unified space.

In addition, Shinsegae Casa plans to enhance customer convenience by separately deploying specialized built-in wardrobe installation technicians composed of personnel who have exclusively handled wardrobes. 1566-0228
