Shinhan Wallpaper's 2020 'Living' collection, made all the more refined with Anti-Fungus Technology and eco-friendly certifications, has been launched.
The most notable feature of Shinhan Wallpaper's 'Living' is its 'Anti-Fungus Technology.' Through a four-week mold experiment conducted by the Korea Conformity Laboratories (KCL), it was confirmed that the collection is far more effective at inhibiting mold growth than ordinary wallpaper. 'Anti-fungus technology' is Shinhan Wallpaper's own innovative technology whereby, when mold absorbs nutrients—one of the three factors of mold growth—it simultaneously absorbs the anti-fungus technology, thereby suppressing and gradually eliminating the mold. In addition, the new 'Living' product enhances safety with eco-friendly certifications. It received the 'GREENGUARD Gold' rating from UL, a world-renowned safety standards certification body, and earned Grade 1 of the 'OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100,' an eco-friendly certification system recognized in major advanced countries across Europe and North America.
Shinhan Wallpaper's 2020 'Living' does not overlook design, of course, in addition to functionality. Its aesthetic appeal is further heightened with sophisticated designs and patterns that reflect the trends of 2020. 'Living' is organized into four sections in total—'Modern, Classic, Natural, and Kids'—and broadens the range of choices with newly included plain wallpapers that convey a warm and gentle feeling, as well as point-pattern wallpapers with a heritage mood.
Installing a flower-pattern point wallpaper in the living room or master bedroom creates a comfortable space with a warm, sentimental feel. The Kids section of Living ranges from calm neutral colors to fresh pink and yellow colors, allowing for a variety of styling that takes a child's tastes into account.
