Seoul Semiconductor announced that its SunLike lighting has been applied to lighting specialist SCL's 'Human Centric Lighting (HCL)' and launched as indoor lighting for construction companies.

'SunLike' lighting is an innovative LED (light-emitting diode) lighting technology that faithfully reproduces the spectrum of sunlight, delivering a light source suited to the human biorhythm and realizing the same wavelengths as natural light. The 'Human Centric Lighting (HCL)' featuring SunLike technology offers a choice of two modes—'Energy' or 'Natural Light'—depending on the user's lifestyle. The 'Natural Light' mode applies Seoul Semiconductor's natural-light reproduction technology, 'SunLike,' helping prevent myopia and promote restful sleep for users while enhancing students' memory. The Energy mode employs a high-efficiency white LED light source.

Seoul Semiconductor said, "We have combined the benefits of natural light and energy savings into one," adding, "With the launch of this Human Centric Lighting, consumers can now choose and use high-quality lighting and economically reasonable lighting to suit their living environment."

In addition, an SCL official said, "To launch a product differentiated from ordinary residential lighting, we applied the SunLike technology of Seoul Semiconductor, which has earned UL Diamond, the highest quality certification for lighting," and "With the launch of this new product, we are now able to actively meet all the requirements of consumers who value natural light and efficiency."

Meanwhile, SCL is a lighting specialist that has supplied residential lighting to Korea's top 50 construction companies for more than 30 years, providing human-friendly lighting. 042-471-9000
