Samhwa Paints announced the launch of 'iLUX Duro-X', an eco-friendly paint with strong stain resistance.
According to Samhwa Paints, 'iLUX Duro-X' forms a high-strength coating film that could not be achieved with waterborne matte paints, preventing scratches and staining on interior walls. In general, when matte paint is applied to walls that are frequently touched, they become soiled over time; however, compared with ordinary waterborne matte paints, 'iLUX Duro-X' offers abrasion resistance, scratch resistance, and washability, keeping the painted surface clean. It is therefore well suited to commercial spaces with heavy foot traffic, educational institutions, and multi-use facilities. In addition, Samhwa Paints' 'iLUX Duro-X' has antibacterial and anti-mold functions, making it effective in food factories and medical facilities as well.
Furthermore, it meets the standard of being below the detection limit for the four major heavy metals and has a low VOC (volatile organic compound) content, having obtained the eco-friendly certification mark accredited by the Ministry of Environment, so it can be used with confidence.
A Samhwa Paints official stated, "Applying iLUX Duro-X prevents staining and scratches on the painted surface at an early stage, minimizing the time and cost spent on maintenance," and added, "Going forward, we plan to gradually increase the number of multi-use facilities using iLUX Duro-X through active promotion." 1544-5357
