Global lighting company LEDVANCE has launched two accent lighting products—the ‘OSRAM LED Performance MR16’ and the ‘OSRAM LED Value MR16’—offering high energy efficiency and uniform, clean light quality.

Both products are LED lamps that serve as a one-to-one replacement for traditional halogen lamps, consuming up to 88% less energy than halogen lamps. In particular, the OSRAM LED Performance MR16, supplied in a single 6.5W power rating, holds a Grade 1 energy consumption efficiency rating, making it possible to quickly recover the initial investment cost. The OSRAM LED Value MR16 is supplied in three power ratings (3W/4.5W/6W), and some 3W and 4.5W models have earned a Grade 1 energy consumption efficiency rating.

The two new products apply a high-quality single lens to emit even, clean light, and they are also characterized by not casting multiple shadows behind a subject. In addition, with a luminous efficacy of 123 lm/W or more for the 6.5W lamp, they make specific spaces brighter and create a more striking atmosphere. Since the entire lamp is designed with glass, it also has a premium appearance, allowing it to be used widely for aesthetic effect not only in various residential spaces but also in commercial spaces such as hotels, restaurants, galleries, and museums. Both products can be used at 12V, so they can be easily installed by simply replacing the lamp without changing the entire lighting system.

In addition, the two new products ensure safety by applying stringent German quality standards, and they are eco-friendly, as they emit no near-infrared radiation and contain no mercury.

The OSRAM LED Performance MR16 offers three light colors (3000K/4000K/6500K) and a lifespan of 40,000 hours, while the OSRAM LED Value MR16 offers a lifespan of 15,000 hours and light colors of 2700K/4000K/6500K.
