Asphalt Art Co., Ltd. (CEO Cho Yong-jin) announced that it has expanded its everyday-hygiene brand 'Anti-bye-rus' by launching 'SafeWall,' an air-purifying wallpaper, and 'SafeCover,' a sterilizing sheet for restrooms.
The newly released 'SafeWall' is an interior wallpaper applied to a wide range of spaces, from ordinary homes and offices to guest-heavy food-service businesses and multi-use facilities such as schools and private academies. By applying the adsorption-and-decomposition technology of Preetex—a porous, specialized fabric—it removes harmful substances that cause various ailments, including odors and chemicals found throughout indoor spaces. In particular, it creates elegant spaces by incorporating masterpieces by great Impressionist painters such as Van Gogh, Manet, Monet, and Klimt into its designs. Notably, Preetex, the material used in SafeWall, became the first in Korea to pass a test at the U.S. ALG laboratory demonstrating 99.99% eradication of the human coronavirus.
'SafeCover' is an antiviral sheet for restrooms—a sterilizing sticker that combines fun campaign slogans with character designs. It is an antibacterial, waterproof sheet incorporating zinc oxide technology, which is also used in food additives and air purifier filters; it is easy to clean and harmless to the human body with zero environmental hormones. In particular, it draws attention as a 'nudge'-idea product that encourages the habit of closing the toilet lid before flushing after use, making it suitable not only for ordinary homes but also for public restroom cleanliness campaigns.
In addition, the company offers a diverse lineup of air-purifying and virus-care products, including SafePostcards for both interior effect and contact-infection prevention, SafeDoor handle covers, and portable antibacterial SafePatches.
Meanwhile, the 'Anti-bye-rus' product line consists of patented products developed under a marketing and technology agreement between Asphalt Art and Jones Media—interior sheets that incorporate virus-care and air-purifying technologies. As a hygiene solution that protects health from various germs and viruses while creating pleasant and beautiful spaces, it enables small-batch production of many product types, allowing production in a variety of designs and specifications to meet customer needs.
