Total interior company Yerim Forestry has unveiled new additions to its interior film 'Heim.' The new 'Heim' products consist of items featuring new patterns that reflect recent interior trends based on lifestyle, along with flame-retardant functionality.
Interior film 'Heim,' a surface finishing material for interiors, has been widely used across residential and commercial spaces thanks to continuous improvements in installation quality and a diverse range of design patterns since its official launch in 2021. This latest release of interior film comes in 17 new patterns reflecting interior trends, including ▲Wood ▲Solid ▲Fabric ▲Stone, and the lineup has been strengthened to a total of 33 products by adding flame-retardant versions to existing patterns. Among them, 'HS046' in the Solid series matches the tone and manner of a steady-selling product from a leading interior wallpaper brand that continues to enjoy popularity, enabling the creation of a cohesive, unified space. In addition, 'HW1078' and 'HW1079' in the Wood series stand out for their refined elegance, featuring subtle veneer patterns that highlight straight grain lines (masagyeol), unlike conventional wood patterns. 'HN2009,' with its natural plaster-wall style that looks as if it were coated with lime, is a Stone-series product reflecting interior market trends and is effective for creating a stylish space. Furthermore, 'Heim' has released 16 new products that add flame-retardant functionality to existing popular patterns, greatly expanding the range of flame-retardant options. The 'Flame-Retardant Interior Film' has passed the rigorous flame-retardant performance testing of the Korea Fire Institute (KFI), proving its early-stage safety in the event of a fire. Moreover, all products in the new 'Heim' line have obtained the Ministry of Environment's Eco-Label certification, recognizing their environmental friendliness in reducing hazardous substances and living-environment pollution, and as non-toxic products made with raw materials and adhesives that are harmless to the human body, they ensure safe and healthy use.
A Yerim Forestry official said, "The new products were developed by thoroughly analyzing the interior market and key consumer groups and actively reflecting those insights," adding, "We will continue to diversify our products to match changing consumption trends and lifestyles, broadening the range of choices to strengthen our position in the market."
In addition, Yerim Forestry has newly introduced two 'Anti-Viral Handles.' The new 'Copper Square 250' and 'Copper Square 80' are furniture handles made of copper alloy—the only antimicrobial material registered with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)—and sterilize 99.99% of harmful bacteria, superbacteria, and coronavirus within 10 minutes. Furthermore, as semi-permanent products that require no disinfection or cleaning, they continue to deliver antimicrobial efficacy even when oxidized or contaminated. The new 'Anti-Viral Handles' feature the champagne gold color characteristic of copper alloy, adding a touch of elegance, along with a clean and sophisticated design. Yerim Forestry stated, "The newly introduced anti-viral handles are high-end products that can be combined with Yerim's premium material 'LUX' to maximize their elegance, and they will expand our influence in the premium market."
