Total interior brand Yerim Timber has launched new hardware products for high-end furniture that combine design and functionality, including its 'LED Lighting System' and 'Antiviral Handles.'
First, the new 'LED Lighting System' features an ultra-slim design measuring 7–14 mm in width, and can be installed in kitchen furniture, built-in closets, shoe cabinets, and more to create a soft lighting effect and a luxurious atmosphere. In particular, it offers both recessed and surface-mounted profiles to suit various installation environments and purposes, and allows custom design for each space by choosing from three color temperatures: warm white, natural white, and daylight. Another advantage is its distinctive 3.8 mm thin silicone diffuser, which hides the LED dots to minimize light glare. Moreover, it uses a low-power 5W LED to enhance efficiency and stability. Compared to standard LED lighting (12W), it can cover more than twice the lighting length, easing the burden of energy use, and by applying a Häfele ballast with proven safety and convenience, it achieves a long lifespan of over 50,000 hours as well as stability that meets European standards.
Yerim has also launched two types of 'Antiviral Handles.' The new 'Copper Square 250' and 'Copper Square 80' are furniture handles made of copper alloy—the only antimicrobial material registered with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)—capable of eliminating 99.99% of harmful bacteria, superbugs, and coronaviruses within 10 minutes. As semi-permanent products requiring no disinfection or cleaning, they also feature the ability to maintain continuous antimicrobial efficacy even when oxidized or contaminated. The 'Antiviral Handles' add a touch of elegance with the champagne gold color characteristic of copper alloy, and stand out with their simple, sophisticated design.
A Yerim official stated, "Demand for high-end spaces in the interior market is gradually increasing," adding, "These new products are high-end products that can maximize a sense of luxury when combined with Yerim's premium material LUX, and they will expand our influence in the premium market."
