Otod, Kolon Global's dedicated home appliance brand, has launched the ‘Otod Bidet.’
The ‘Otod Bidet’ was released in three self-installable models designed to address a wide range of consumer needs. The new lineup consists of the ‘EasyCare (A-1000),’ aimed at the mass market; the ‘UltraCare (A-3000),’ which offers premium features and convenience; and the high-end ‘ProCare (A-2000).’ First, the ‘EasyCare (A-1000)’ model features IPX 5-rated waterproofing along with a mood light, a drying function, a direct-water design, a semi-permanent filter, and a touch-type side controller. Equipped with essential features designed for user convenience, this model is expected to be a sensible choice for consumers. The ‘UltraCare (A-3000)’ is a product with further enhanced convenience features; it offers the same IPX 5-rated waterproofing as the EasyCare, but additionally includes an instant hot water function, a touch-type remote control, and a nozzle and bowl sterilization function using electrolyzed water, enabling more hygienic and convenient use. In addition, the ‘ProCare (A-2000)’ model adds a nozzle sterilization function to the features of the EasyCare (A-1000) model, and is distinguished by its touch-type remote control. As all three new products are branded under Kolon, a major Korean corporation, after-sales service is also available.
An official from Kolon Global said, “Because bidets require maintenance, the market has been formed around expensive rental services. However, the Otod Bidet is easy to install yourself and is equipped with a semi-permanent filter, IPX 5-rated waterproofing, and electrolyzed water sterilization, making it highly competitive even compared to existing rental products,” adding, “With the launch of the Otod Bidet, Kolon will further expand its presence in the bidet market.”
Meanwhile, Otod is an abbreviation of ‘One Touch of Delight,’ an in-house brand created by Kolon Global to expand its home appliance portfolio, embodying the philosophy of delivering a small moment of delight in every moment of daily life. 032-420-9111
