LG Electronics has unveiled its new ‘LG OLED Objet Collection,’ a product that breaks away from conventional TV design by incorporating design elements even on the back of the TV.
The new LG OLED Objet Collection product, ‘LX1,’ combines LG Electronics’ ‘LG OLED evo’ with the Objet Collection’s distinctive sense of spatial interior design, adding a U-shaped recessed design element to the rear of the TV when viewed from the side.
This is a customized storage space that LG Electronics has introduced to address customers’ frustrations with the tangle of devices and cables around the TV. Users can store peripheral devices such as set-top boxes and power strips in this detachable storage compartment. It can also be used like a bookshelf or arranged with interior accessories such as postcards and photos, allowing for free-form spatial styling. At the same time, space for routing cables is provided inside the TV stand legs, keeping the area around the TV neat and tidy.
In addition, the ‘LX1’ maintains the slim design of a self-lit OLED panel that requires no backlight, while applying premium beige fabric material to both the front and back of the product. As a result, the back of the TV is also neatly finished, breaking the fixed notion that a TV must be installed right up against a wall. Furthermore, the ‘LX1’ harmonizes with the furniture and interior of the home, allowing it to be placed naturally in various spaces the user desires—between the living room and kitchen, by a window, or in front of a bookshelf. On top of that, its curved design that gives a soft impression from any angle, combined with an art stand that resembles the display of an artwork, allows it to serve as an interior objet in its own right. Using LG Electronics’ OLED Gallery service, which lets you appreciate artworks such as paintings in high resolution, you can also add the feel of a curated exhibition of masterpieces.
