Milwaukee (CEO Park Yong-beom) has launched the Milwaukee '18V FUEL Circular Saw III_6.5 inch (M18 FCS552), which is lighter in weight yet more powerful.
The '18V FUEL Circular Saw III_6.5 inch (M18 FCS552)' offers a well-rounded set of advantages needed on the job, with top-tier power and cutting speed along with a variety of user-convenience features. In particular, it is a product capable of single-pass cutting through a range of materials such as 2×2 framing lumber, OSB plywood, and hardwood flooring. Equipped with a POWERSTATE™ brushless motor, it delivers up to 6,000 RPM and maintains consistent RPM even during high-load work. In addition, its maximum output is 1,600W, a 180% increase over the previous model, and when fitted with an 18V FORGE 6Ah battery (M18 FB6) it can perform up to 300 cuts on a single charge. The bevel angle can be set from 0 to 50 degrees, and the maximum cutting depth is up to 57 mm at 90 degrees and up to 44 mm at 45 degrees. Furthermore, the new product reduces operator fatigue with its convenient portability. Weighing 2.9 kg as a bare tool, it offers excellent accessibility for frequent movement or overhead work, and the rafter hook on the top of the product allows balanced storage. It can also be hung on a work belt using the safety hook for easy transport.
Beyond this, the '18V FUEL Circular Saw III_6.5 inch (M18 FCS552)' uses a bidirectionally adjustable loop-type lock for convenient bevel angle adjustment, and features an enlarged spindle lock for easy blade changes. The product also has a dust-blowing function and can be connected to a Milwaukee dust extractor through the dedicated dust port. In addition, an LED light mounted at the front of the product allows bright work even in dark spaces.
A Milwaukee official said, "The new 18V FUEL Circular Saw III_6.5 inch (M18 FCS552) is a product with powerful performance and fast cutting speed," emphasizing that "it minimizes secondary work to reduce damage to the workpiece and minimize working time." 1644-4009
