Premium home appliance brand Airmade has launched a new product, ‘THE Great Humidifier 2.0 (model name: AMH-4502),’ equipped with an automatic water tank self-cleaning system and an AI humidity control function.
Steam humidifiers are considered a must-have appliance for households with children thanks to their excellent sterilizing power, but they have been troublesome to maintain because limescale and mineral deposits build up easily, and bacteria can breed if they are not cleaned daily. To solve these problems, Airmade applied an automatic water tank self-cleaning system that cleans itself at the push of a button, just like a dishwasher. The key is a 304 stainless steel cleaning brush. Rotating more than 100 times per minute, it removes limescale and foreign matter, and automatically repeats soaking and cleaning to keep the inside of the tank clean. There is no need to pick up a brush and clean it every day, easing the burden on parents and allowing hygienic use without scratches.
Two spray modes were also prepared with children’s safety and year-round usability in mind. Low-temperature spray (about 50–70℃) reduces the risk of burns, so it can be used with peace of mind even in spaces where children live, while high-temperature spray (about 80–90℃) emits warm steam to keep dry indoor air moist and comfortable during winter. Since the water is sprayed after a 100℃ heating process, it also offers greater reliability in terms of hygiene and sterilization. A humidity sensor remote control is provided for precise humidity management. The AI automatic humidity control function maintains an optimal humidity level of 60% to prevent excess humidity and condensation. In addition, the automatic on/off function and 4-level spray volume control reduce management stress and support efficient use. Hygiene and safety have also been reinforced. The body uses top medical-grade stainless steel, and the spray nozzle uses baby-bottle-grade silicone that meets FDA and EU LFGB standards, reducing concerns about environmental hormones. After use, an automatic spray nozzle drying function operates to prevent the growth of bacteria and mold. Everyday convenience has also been carefully considered. The 28㏈ low-noise design and internal soundproofing allow quiet use even at night while the baby is sleeping, and the 3-level brightness-adjustable mood light can be used as a nursing lamp.
