Eugene Corporation has set out to capture the building flooring market with its non-slip rubber flooring, 'Homeday Rubber Flooring.'
'Homeday Rubber Flooring' was developed by RM, a company specializing in rubber flooring, and is supplied exclusively to Eugene Corporation on an ODM basis. The new product has obtained FloorScore, a U.S. environmental certification, as well as Korea's Environmental Labelling certification. With excellent durability and hygiene, it can be applied in a variety of spaces that require safety and slip resistance, such as schools, offices, and hospitals. In addition, 'Homeday Rubber Flooring' uses no hazardous chemical substances, making it safe for the human body, and its content of volatile organic compounds, toluene, formaldehyde, 1,3-butadiene, and other substances meets eco-friendly regulations. Furthermore, it emits no toxic gases in the event of a fire and features antibacterial properties that eliminate 99.9% of harmful bacteria after 24 hours. At the same time, it offers stronger durability and superior slip resistance compared to PVC flooring.
An official from Eugene Corporation said, "With recent large-scale logistics warehouse fires and the growing importance of walking safety amid an aging population, demand for fire-safe products and non-slip flooring is steadily expanding," adding, "Homeday Rubber Flooring in particular is a customizable product that can be produced with adjustable thickness, finish, and other specifications to suit each site type, so installation cases are expected to increase going forward."
In addition, thanks to its dust-resistant surface, 'Homeday Rubber Flooring' requires no seam sealing or waxing, and no strong detergents are needed for cleaning, giving it the advantage of low long-term maintenance costs.
