Bosch Power Tools has launched two grinders, the 'GWX 9-125 S' and 'GWX 18V-10 SC', featuring the keyless X-LOCK system.
'X-LOCK' is a system that allows grinder discs to be changed with a single click, an innovative system newly introduced by Bosch Power Tools. It features an X-shaped grinder head interface, eliminating the need for separate parts (flange and lock nut), wrenches, and keys for convenient use. In particular, since there is no interference from a lock nut during grinding work, flat grinding is possible without scratching the surface. In addition, because the disc cannot be mounted upside down, operator errors are reduced and work efficiency is improved.
The two newly launched grinders, the 'GWX 9-125 S' and 'GWX 18V-10 SC', are the first X-LOCK-equipped products to be introduced in Korea. The 'GWX 9-125 S' is a corded type and the 'GWX 18V-10 SC' is a cordless type, both characterized by powerful performance, convenience, and safety.
△The GWX 9-125 S is equipped with a high-efficiency 900W motor for outstanding cutting and grinding performance. Operators can preset the speed across six levels according to various work environments and materials, and the tool adopts an ergonomic design, including a slim grip. In addition, its SDS-type safety cover, which can be conveniently attached without any separate tools, greatly enhances operator convenience. △The GWX 18V-10 SC boasts 1000W of power through its brushless motor and Bosch's ProCORE 18V battery technology, along with long runtime thanks to its 8.0Ah battery. It offers three-level speed adjustment, and the head display allows users to check the remaining battery level and overload status. It features connectivity that links with a mobile phone via Bluetooth to check the tool's status and notifications and to adjust the brightness of the work light, greatly enhancing operator convenience. In addition, it offers excellent safety with a Kickback Control function that stops the device on its own upon contact with an obstacle to prevent user injury, as well as an X-Brake system with a brake that is 50% faster than conventional grinders.
