Expanding choice with the addition of diverse, on-trend flooring colors and patterns
Eagon Maru, a purveyor of premium eco-friendly flooring, has strengthened its product competitiveness by significantly expanding the lineup of new patterns for its gangmaru (reinforced hardwood flooring) lines, 'SERA' and 'SERA Blending,' in step with shifting market trends.
The 'SERA' gangmaru is a reinforced flooring product made by applying an HPL (High-Pressure Laminate) film—which passes stringent quality standards—onto eco-friendly plywood. Highly resistant to external impacts such as denting and pressure marks, and offered in 24 diverse designs, it has established itself as one of Eagon Maru's most popular products.
The newly launched patterns comprise four in total: △Blanc White, △Floral White, △Mild Oak, and △Classic Teak. Reflecting current interior trends, the new 'SERA' patterns are composed to suit natural interior styles, and they are distinguished by their use of moisture-resistant plywood rated Super E0 (formaldehyde emissions of 0.3mg/L or less)—Korea's highest eco-friendly grade. In addition, the products have earned the Eco-Label and Environmental Product Declaration certifications from the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute (KEITI), certifying the eco-friendliness of the entire flooring manufacturing and distribution process.
'SERA Blending' is a gangmaru that reproduces the diverse colors and patterns inherent to wood, distinguished by designs that emphasize wood's natural knots and grain. By applying the color-mixing techniques used in painting to the flooring surface, it renders varied textures in the wood and differentiates its design. Beyond wood-grain motifs, it also offers unique and trendy colors that capture the recently popular look of marble and tile—such as Marble White, Terrazzo White, and Granada White—earning a favorable response from consumers. With a widened 115mm plank width compared to conventional gangmaru, it is solidifying its position as a premium product.
Through this renewal, 'SERA Blending' adds eight new patterns in total—△Off White, △Bianco, △Grano Oak, △Romantic Oak, △Natural Oak, △Saw Oak, △Stone Gray, and △British Teak—allowing consumers to make their selection according to their desired spatial concept. In particular, the newly launched patterns are distinguished by their use of premium European design-pattern paper, elevating both color and design. Like 'SERA,' 'SERA Blending' also uses Super E0-grade eco-friendly moisture-resistant plywood and has earned the Eco-Label, offering the added advantage of being safe for the whole family to use.
