EAGON Industry Co., Ltd. is unveiling a new laminate flooring line that embraces naturalism. The laminate floor 'SERA' is made by applying HPL (High-Pressure Laminate) film that has passed strict quality standards onto eco-friendly plywood (HPL, High-Density Fiberboard). Not only is it highly resistant to dents and pressure, but with 20 designs—the most diverse selection in Korea—it has established itself as EAGON Flooring's best seller.
A key feature of this renewal is that, in line with the trend of consumers who want to spend their own time in good health within a pleasant living environment, natural colors that create a more subtle and comfortable feel rather than a flashy one take center stage.
Accordingly, the company has released reinterpreted products such as Organic Oak and Ash Grey, which add multi-toned, naturalism-infused hues to modern wood grains. In addition to naturally appealing wood-tone colors such as oak, teak, and walnut that continue to enjoy popularity, achromatic colors such as grey and white have been reinforced, and European-inspired colors not previously found in the existing flooring market have also been added.
Along with diversifying its color palette, EAGON Flooring has carried out a revamp of its laminate flooring products, delivering premium design and texture. The lineup consists of a total of 44 varieties, centered on △'SERA,' which offers the widest range of species and colors in Korea, along with △'SERA Blending,' a painterly-expression floor that creates the atmosphere of aged European timber through natural gradations of color and the depiction of knots, △'SERA Flex,' an embossed-texture floor that reproduces a three-dimensional texture close to solid wood, and △'SERA Smart Care,' an eco-friendly floor made from baby-bottle material that is harmless to the human body.
Furthermore, in step with the recent popularity of interiors featuring diverse patterns, the company has also upgraded its patterned flooring, including △'SERA Herringbone,' precision-machined to a width-to-length ratio of 1:5 to enable a variety of pattern installations, and △'SERA Chevron,' which takes the herringbone pattern one step further. In particular, Chevron is produced directly in Korea for the first time, drawing on more than 20 years of accumulated flooring manufacturing technology and know-how, making it possible to realize interiors of an even higher standard.
