IKEA Korea is launching its ‘Interior Design Service,’ which lets customers realize their dream spaces at low prices, across all its stores and through a remote channel offering video consultations.

IKEA’s ‘Interior Design Service’ covers not only homes but also small business spaces such as offices, cafés, and restaurants. Based on one-on-one consultations, IKEA interior designers propose product combinations and layouts, space utilization plans, and space styling that includes 3D drawings.

The service is offered in two forms: the ‘Interior Design Service’ for ordinary residential spaces and the ‘Business Interior Design Service’ for business spaces. Each service is run in two tiers—▲‘Basic,’ for customers who want to decorate their space with furniture and home accessories alone, and ▲‘Plus,’ for customers who want integrated interior design that includes finishing materials—so customers can choose the scope of service.

All services are available at every IKEA Korea store and can be used after booking a visit through IKEA Korea’s official online mall or the ‘IKEA for Business’ counter at each store. Every service except ‘Business Interior Design Plus’ is also offered through IKEA’s remote ordering service, ‘Hej Order.’ Using the screen-sharing feature, real-time consultations are possible via PC or smartphone, so customers can conveniently use the service without constraints of time or place.

An IKEA Korea representative said, “Through IKEA’s interior design service, which showcases rich expertise across a wide range of spaces, we hope even more people can create customized spaces that reflect their individuality,” adding, “IKEA will continue to strengthen its omni-channel with convenient services spanning online and offline, helping more people create the spaces they dream of.”

Meanwhile, to celebrate the launch of the ‘Interior Design Service,’ IKEA Korea is also running an event through March 5. During the event period, customers who use the ‘Basic’ or ‘Plus’ interior design service for two or more spaces will receive the interior design service for one space free of charge. In addition, the first 10 customers to use the service at each store or through ‘Hej Order’ will receive a service in which an IKEA interior designer visits the space for a final review. Customers who consult in person at a store will also be given a meatball coupon that can be used at the IKEA Restaurant. 1670-4532
