‘Interior Contract Diagnosis’ Service Launched

Ohouse structures 14 items to check in question form; customers can review points to supplement through the interior contract diagnosis report. Ohouse has unveiled its ‘Interior Contract Diagnosis’ service, which allows anyone to easily check the essential inspection items of an interior construction contract. The ‘Interior Contract Diagnosis’ service was introduced with the aim of helping customers examine whether the contract signed with a company contains any unfavorable clauses and whether necessary clauses have been properly included, in case of interior-related disputes. The ‘Interior Contract Diagnosis’ service reviewed various contract-related dispute cases that can arise in the field and organized the 14 items that must be checked into question form. When a customer answers a total of 14 questions across three broad areas—company diagnosis, estimate diagnosis, and contract diagnosis—the service converts the results into a score out of 100, showing at a glance how well the interior contract has been drawn up. Through the interior contract diagnosis report, customers can check the parts they missed during the interior construction contract process and identify what needs to be supplemented. Using the contract diagnosis report is intuitive and simple. In the Ohouse app or on the web, click the interior contract diagnosis service within the Moving·Construction·Living tab, then enter the information gathered during the construction contract process by answering the questions with ‘Yes,’ ‘No,’ or ‘I’m not sure.’ Once the user starts the contract diagnosis, items that must be checked with the interior company appear, including whether the business registration date has been verified and whether the company holds a specialized construction business license. It then covers points such as whether an estimate and a construction schedule have been confirmed, and whether the contract includes clauses on responsibility for defect repairs. It also includes questions on verifying that the representative’s name on the business registration certificate matches the representative’s name at the actual meeting, as well as confirming who is responsible for A/S. Once you finish answering the 14 questions selected by actual construction experts, the final contract diagnosis report is issued immediately. Based on a maximum of 100 points, the report tells you whether the contract diagnosis result is favorable and whether there are any points to be cautious or careful about. Customers can read the detailed guidance on the diagnosis results to check for deficiencies in the contract and revise it. In addition, the report provides examples of wording that would be good to include in the contract. It also explains what problems could arise if such wording is missing. After reviewing the report, customers can also check right away in the app whether the contracted company has suspended or closed its business, simply by entering some basic information. An Ohouse official said, “Ohouse is working hard to actively improve the inconveniences customers have felt,” adding, “We will continue to create services that satisfy our customers.” 1670-0876
