ILVA, Denmark's largest home furnishing brand, has announced the launch of its outdoor furniture piece, the 'Circle dining table'.
Denmark has a higher rate of summer house ownership per capita than any other country in Europe, making them an important part of life. For Danes, a summer house is a space suited to relaxation and 'rest' rather than to luxury and extravagance, and a culture has taken root of practicing the hygge lifestyle and enjoying rest for body and mind through the time spent there.
Owing to these cultural characteristics, Denmark's outdoor furniture market has grown considerably, and ILVA's outdoor furniture is much loved by Danes for its durability and reasonable pricing.
The 'Circle dining table' unveiled by ILVA features a tabletop made of bamboo and treated with oil, making it sturdy against seasonal changes such as snow and rain, while its centrally positioned leg provides comfortable space even when several people are seated. In addition, granite is used at the center of the tabletop to enhance its practicality for outdoor use.
An ILVA representative said, "In Korea as well, outdoor leisure activities such as camping and home gardening have become a trend, and demand for outdoor furniture is on the rise," adding, "ILVA has released a wide variety of outdoor furniture suited for use in gardens, yards, and terraces, so we hope it will receive much interest."
Meanwhile, the ILVA showroom is located in Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, and proposes diverse lifestyle concepts on each floor. Recently, its rooftop was renovated with new outdoor furniture products including sofas, chairs, tables, and benches. 02-3477-1222
