Korea Virtual Reality (CEO Jang Ho-hyun) recently announced the launch of its AR interior app 'Kobi House AR'.
'Kobi House AR' is a service that lets users enjoy interior design experiences like a game. Using a smartphone camera to view the inside of their home, users can arrange furniture or change wall colors. The service supports a database of more than 70,000 materials and furniture items, along with dimension measurement and wall design features. It is also equipped with an image-generating AI style guide feature, allowing users to receive recommendations for interior styles that match their selected furniture and accessories.
An official from Korea Virtual Reality said, "Existing apps merely placed furniture virtually, but Kobi House AR satisfies both fun and practicality at the same time," adding, "Another advantage is that you can arrange furniture from various angles and design the space according to actual dimensions." Korea Virtual Reality is a company that has secured more than 500,000 members through its VR interior platform 'Kobi House VR,' and this AR version combines the immersion of VR with the convenience of AR, making it easy to use on mobile. The company is also considering the possibility of integration with next-generation wearable devices such as AR glasses and headsets. With an open architecture compatible with a variety of wearable devices, 'Kobi House AR' can respond flexibly to changes in the market.
Korea Virtual Reality stated, "We will develop the Kobi House AR unveiled this time into a platform that connects with next-generation hardware," adding, "Through this, we will further strengthen our competitiveness in both B2C (business-to-consumer) and B2B (business-to-business) markets." 1644-4932
