Actively Reflecting the Interior Trend of ‘Sustainable Naturalism’
Hyundai L&C has launched new patterns for its eco-friendly flooring brand ‘Myungga,’ which captures the beauty of nature just as it is.
Hyundai L&C’s ‘Myungga’ flooring is an eco-friendly product made from pure raw materials, free from the risk of harmful substances such as phthalate-based plasticizers and heavy metals. The emission levels of formaldehyde—a cause of sick house syndrome—and volatile organic compounds harmful to the human body meet the certification standards of the Ministry of Environment’s Eco-Label, and its excellent antibacterial and anti-mold functions have earned it a solid reputation as a safe product free from allergy concerns. Its richer texture, achieved through a more refined embossing effect, is another key element of ‘Myungga’ that cannot be overlooked.
The newly launched ‘Myungga’ patterns comprise a total of seven designs, including five Premium and two Original patterns. The new patterns are composed of wood and stone series.
Myungga Premium’s ‘True Oak,’ ‘Solid Oak,’ and ‘Hand Craft Oak,’ along with Myungga Original’s ‘Sienna Oak,’ capture the bright and warm feeling characteristic of wood with their soft coloring and texture close to real wood, making them a perfect fit for consumers who want a cozy and snug interior. Myungga Original’s ‘Light Oak’ is a bright wood pattern that offers a sense of stability and brightness, making it ideal for decorating children’s rooms. In addition, Myungga Premium’s ‘Brown Oak Herringbone’ and ‘River Stone Herringbone’ patterns draw consumers’ attention with their unique herringbone-style designs. In particular, ‘River Stone Herringbone,’ the only stone pattern among the new designs, brings out the characteristics of natural stone through three-dimensional line expression while also creating an effect that softly organizes the layout.
Notably, the seven new ‘Myungga’ patterns are composed of designs inspired by nature, such as wood and stone. This is because the development of the new patterns reflected ‘Sustainable Naturalism,’ one of the latest interior trend themes analyzed through Hyundai L&C’s trend seminar ‘Intrend,’ held last November. At the time of ‘Intrend,’ Hyundai L&C presented ‘Sustainable Naturalism,’ ‘Retro Futurism,’ and ‘New Classic’ as the three major interior trends of the year.
A Hyundai L&C official said, “As interiors based on naturalism have established themselves as a trend among consumers in this era of eco-consciousness, we launched the new Myungga patterns to reflect this,” adding, “Using the products launched this time as a stepping stone, we will continue to strive to develop products that reflect the latest interior trends.” 080-729-8272
