HiHomeTech, a company specializing in insulation materials, announced that it has launched four new colors of its interior ‘Foam Block’ line and has begun full-scale sales.
HiHomeTech’s ‘Foam Block’ is the first product in Korea to feature the manufacturer’s brand printed on silver PET foil on the back. The PET backing is a raw material that blocks heat transfer, enhancing both heating and cooling efficiency. According to the company, the product combines an attractive interior effect with the practicality of being suitable for use in all four seasons.
HiHomeTech’s new ‘Foam Block’ is a DIY (Do It Yourself) product that consumers can install themselves. It is adhesive—simply peel off the transparent sticker on the back of the wallpaper and apply it directly. With matte pastel-tone colors, it can be used as accent décor in dull spaces such as old balconies, company meeting rooms, pensions, and shop interiors. The new colors consist of ‘Modern White,’ ‘Cozy Grey (ivory-toned),’ ‘Rainy Grey,’ and ‘Hazelnut Beige.’
According to HiHomeTech, this ‘Foam Block’ not only provides soundproofing but also absorbs impact, making it suitable for use in spaces used by children. In addition to easy installation, it features a waterproof coating, so if it gets dirty, it can be easily wiped clean with a wet wipe. The company is also introducing a compressed ‘Foam Block’ product with a thinner thickness of 4–5 mm compared to the existing ‘Foam Block.’ This product is made by compressing the existing ‘Foam Block’ once more, producing it at about half the thickness, with the advantage of excellent space efficiency.
Meanwhile, HiHomeTech developed insulating wallpaper and obtained a patent for it in 2010. In addition to Foam Block, it has released products such as insulating wallpaper and silk wallpaper, establishing itself as an interior wallpaper company as well. 1670-0454
