The Bosch Power Tools division (Division Head Park Jin-hong) has launched two professional multi-purpose cordless rotary hammers with even more powerful impact force: the 'GBH 18V-28 C' and the 'GBH 18V-28 CF.'
These two new products are SDS-plus standard cordless rotary hammers equipped with a powerful brushless motor, boasting 3.3J of impact energy and delivering an impact rate of up to 4,220 bpm for fast work. This enables optimal efficiency in drilling and hammering tasks on concrete, stone, and masonry.
In addition, the new products further enhance user safety with a range of tool control functions. The vibration control function reduces vibration generated during work to lower operator fatigue, while the Kickback Control function stops the tool automatically when a bit jams in the material and causes an overload recoil, thereby preventing safety incidents. In particular, the tools are compatible with the separately available Bosch cordless dust extractor (GDE 18V-16 Professional), enabling dust-free drilling and clean work when used together.
Along with safety features, smart functions have also been upgraded. The user interface (HMI) allows users to intuitively check the tool's status, such as battery charge level and heat status, and offers the convenience of selecting among three modes (Auto, Favorite, and Soft) depending on the task. It also supports Bosch's innovative connectivity feature. When the connectivity module (GCY 42) is installed separately, the tool can be linked with the Bosch Toolbox app via Bluetooth, allowing users to make additional adjustments to suit their needs, including tool control, tool status alerts, and profile settings. The 'GBH 18V-28 CF' model can be fitted with a Quick change chuck, reducing unnecessary time spent swapping chucks and improving productivity for a variety of tasks.
